Echoes of Resistance
In February 2025, Athens became the epicenter of public outrage on the second anniversary of the Tempi train disaster.
What began as remembrance turned into mass protests demanding justice and accountability. This photography project captures the raw intensity of these clashes—young protestors confronting riot police, fire and smoke filling the streets, walls marked with messages of defiance.
Presented as diptychs, the images juxtapose determination against state force, creating a dialogue between power and resistance.
The project goes beyond documentation, inviting reflection and emotional engagement. It challenges viewers to confront universal questions: What does resistance look like? How do systems of power respond?
Beyond the chaos, it celebrates the unyielding spirit of those who refuse to be silenced. This is not just Athens—it is a testament to all cities where injustice meets resistance.
